The ESA Energy Storage Policy Forum (Energy Storage Policy Forum) is an elite gathering of energy storage professionals and policymakers who come together to discuss the predicted policy activities and issues each year to educate and support the policy and advocacy programs of our members and ESA.
This year, a portion of the proceeds from the Energy Storage Policy Forum will go to support the Help The Heroes program at the National Press Club. We encourage all attendees to consider making a separate contribution to this program. All voluntary donations will be provided directly to the program.
The Help the Heroes program was created during the COVID-19 pandemic to help front-line hospital workers have freshly made to-go meals as they leave work, guaranteeing they have food in a timely, convenient and safe way. These workers are putting their lives on the line every day at work, and then they also face challenges at home: meals are skipped for the sake of time, and schedules have adversely impacted their ability to function at peak performance. The National Press Club’s culinary team produces and packages high-quality meals and delivers them daily to the hospital, so staffers have healthy ready to eat meals when they are on a break or the end of shift. The program recognizes that communities of color are often the most-impacted by COVID-19, so by helping workers at Howard University Hospital, we are bringing aid where it is needed most.
This year’s Energy Storage Policy Forum will be held virtually over two (2) days which allows us to provide attendees with the same high caliber of speakers and content they have come to expect from past events. We’re looking forward to welcoming everyone back to Washington, D.C. for an in-person Energy Storage Policy Forum in 2022.
